Hi! I'm Chelsea, and I'm so happy you've found my little corner of the internet. I help tired parents find sleep routines & solutions that work for their family, so everyone gets the rest they need.
I have always loved babies (pretty much since I was one!). When I had my own, I realized just how challenging and beautiful the job of a mother is. When my daughter was born, I had so much anxiety around sleep. I knew that it was important for her development and for my own mental health. I also felt overwhelmed by the often opposing advice out there online. Was sleep training bad or good? Was there more than one option out there for sleep training if cry-it-out didn't feel right for me? (Spoiler alert - there are so many options out there that aren't cry-it-out!). I read everything I could, and eventually switched careers and became a postpartum doula and certified sleep consultant.
As someone who struggled with the overwhelm of early motherhood at times, I now love walking through the tough moments with my clients during that first year. When you are sleep deprived, everything feels tough! I strive to help my clients quiet the noise, find peace, and create solutions that align with who they want to be as parents.
Chelsea was monumental in helping us with ALL of our questions regarding sleep training. If you’re on the fence or not sure if you’re ready, know that you aren’t alone but also, that Chelsea guides softly yet clearly on what steps to take. Chelsea helped my family achieve our sleep goals in record time. My 5 month old was up every hour at bedtime and only taking contact naps during the day. We were suffering. Chelsea offered a comprehensive sleep plan with several sleep options to choose from. When my daughter developed a cold on day 4, she walked us through a modified process, so that when she was well we were able to pick right back up. I will forever be grateful for her guidance. Chelsea the Tuned-In Doula was simply outstanding. Our 3 year old son has always been a great sleeper so we were ill prepared when he went through a major sleep regression. He needed one of us to stay in his bed till he fell asleep and would wake multiple times in the night. After a few sleep deprived weeks, we contacted Chelsea who listened to our needs and concerns surrounding our son's sleep. She crafted a customized sleep plan for our son that really focused on his needs and motivators for continued success. She was extremely responsive particularly when we were in the thick of the sleep struggles and was a great cheerleader for us tired/frustrated/defeated parents. Her daily check ins were so great to help track progress and make necessary tweaks as needed. At one point she worked with us to pivot his sleep plan based on our son's responses. We really appreciated her collaborative nature and by the middle of the second week into the plan the power struggles of going to sleep were diminished and he was no longer waking through the night. My husband and I recommend Chelsea 100% to anyone who is going through sleep challenges with their kiddo(s).
